Her work is almost exclusively interdisciplinary combining areas such as sociology, philosophy, semantics, politics, theatre, multi-media and performance.​

Her music has been performed in festivals such as Wittener Tage für Neue Kammermusik (GE), Frau* Musica Nova (GE), Tremplin de la création - Philharmonie de Paris (FR), MIXTUR Festival (ESP), KLANG Festival (DK), IMPULS Festival (AU), Festival Crossroads (AU), UML Festival (FIN), Music Biennale Zagreb (HR), Cantiere Internazionale D'arte Montepulciano (IT), Festival Leicht über Linz (AU), Gnesin Contemporary Music Week (RU) etc. ​
She wrote for numerous ensembles including Ensemble Recherche, Ensemble Scope, Cantando Admont, Collettivo_21, KLART Ensemble, ESMUC Orchestra, Kollektiv Unruhe, Lizard Ensemble, Divertimento Ensemble, Ensemble Cairn.​
​Sara got her master’s degree in Composition at Anton Bruckner Private University in Linz (AU) in class of Carola Bauckholt. She holds a B.A. diploma in Musicology from Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich (GE) and in Composition from Conservatory Giuseppe Verdi in Ravenna (IT). ​
Sara is currently living in Linz, and she is the chairwoman of IGNM Oö (International Society for New Music – section Upper Austria).

​​In 2024 Sara was one of the 10 finalists for the Ö1 Talentebörse-Kompositionspreis in Austria.​
She is the scholarship holder of the Junge Akademie der Künste Berlin (Werner Düttmann Fellowship 2024/2025) and of Ernst Krenek Institut (Gladys Krenek - Master thesis 2024).
