Her interdisciplinary practice explores the tensions, contradictions, and absurdities of contemporary society addressing questions of political power, the construction of collective narratives, and the relationship between technology and the environment.

Her music has been performed in festivals such as Wittener Tage für Neue Kammermusik (GE), ORF musikprotokoll (AU), Frau* Musica Nova (GE), Tremplin de la création - Philharmonie de Paris (FR), MIXTUR Festival (ESP), KLANG Festival (DK), IMPULS Festival (AU), Festival Crossroads (AU), UML Festival (FIN), Music Biennale Zagreb (HR), Cantiere Internazionale D'arte Montepulciano (IT), Festival Leicht über Linz (AU), Gnesin Contemporary Music Week (RU) etc.
She wrote for numerous ensembles including Ensemble Recherche, Ensemble Schallfeld, Ensemble Scope, CantandoAdmont, Collettivo_21, KLART Ensemble, Kollektiv Unruhe, Trio PonySays, ORF Radio-Symphony Orchestra Vienna, Divertimento Ensemble, Ensemble NeuRaum, etc.
Sara got her master’s degree in Composition at Anton Bruckner Private University in Linz (AU) in class of Carola Bauckholt. She holds a B.A. diploma in Musicology from Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich (GE) and in Composition from Conservatory Giuseppe Verdi in Ravenna (IT).
Sara is currently living in Linz, and she is the chairwoman of IGNM Oö (International Society for New Music – section Upper Austria) and project manager of NAMES Ensemble.
She is a fellow of the Akademie der Künste Berlin (Werner Düttmann Fellowship 2024/2025) and of the Austrian Federal Ministry for Arts, Culture, Civil Service and Sport (Composition Fellowship 2025).
